Privacy Policy

How PimplePlan intends to handle account, tracking, and optional photo information. This draft must be finalized with counsel before launch.

This Privacy Policy is a working draft for legal review and does not replace advice from qualified legal counsel.

Overview

PimplePlan LLC (“PimplePlan,” “we,” “us”) operates the PimplePlan behavioral skin-tracking and educational platform.

Effective date: August 5, 2026. Last updated: August 5, 2026.

This policy summarizes how we handle information. Practices must continue to match the live product and remain subject to counsel review.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect account information (such as name and email), profile and demographic details you choose to provide, daily logs and lifestyle entries, optional photos, device and usage data needed to operate the Service, and communications you send us.

You control how much optional tracking information you enter.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the Service, personalize your experience within the product, communicate with you about the account or beta, secure the platform, and comply with law.

AI-assisted features may process user-entered information to generate educational summaries or navigation help. Outputs can be wrong; see our Terms for AI and medical disclaimers.

Sharing

Marked for attorney review — placeholders or draft language only.

We use service providers who process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards appropriate to the service. Current and planned categories include: authentication and database hosting (Supabase); application hosting and content delivery; email or SMS delivery for account and waitlist messages; analytics needed to operate and improve the product; and AI infrastructure used for optional educational or summarization features.

We do not sell personal health information as a consumer data-brokerage practice.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or security of PimplePlan or our users, or in connection with a merger, financing, or sale of assets (with notice where required).

Health privacy note

PimplePlan is not representing itself as a HIPAA-covered healthcare provider. Please review this policy and our Terms for how information is handled.

Retention and deletion

Marked for attorney review — placeholders or draft language only.

We retain account and tracking information for as long as your account remains active and as needed to operate the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations.

After you request account deletion, we aim to delete or de-identify personal account data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records (for example security logs, fraud prevention, or legal compliance) for a longer period.

You may request account and data deletion via Account Settings or by emailing contact@pimpleplan.com.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children and teens

Marked for attorney review — placeholders or draft language only.

PimplePlan is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

If you are between 13 and 17, a parent or legal guardian must consent to your use of the Service and the Privacy Policy where required by law.

If we learn we collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will delete that information as required by applicable law. Contact contact@pimpleplan.com if you believe we have information from a child under 13.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated through the Service, email, or another reasonable method.
